'Polygeranium'. The original artwork before being inverted, used for single cover artwork for @_nownois_.
Oil, pen, ink on recyclable transparent plastic (35x50cm). 2020&23.
This magical plant moves through the space in a curve, from or through the polygon. The polygon-doorway? Begun during the lockdown, yet the polygon & conservatively painted geranium I was never satisfied with. It floated around a couple years before it's glitchy shift to the side & inverted colours were induced.
Recurrently rhythm & flow in my work is suggested to me through nature, through music.

This is how a collaboration of visual & music artist should be done! Generous the whole way. Inspiring. Fluid. Positive.

This glitchy magical plant moves through the space following it's curve, from or through this polygon-doorway. Begun during the lockdown, yet the polygon & conservatively painted geranium I was never satisfied with. It floated around for 3years, before it's doubling shifted to the side & inverted colours like unworldly shadow were induced.

'Rainbow Excretion'. Layered drawing on both sides of the transpancy. This drawing has its origins in line, accident/play with ink and fluidity, towards attempts at something specific anatomical, botanical and informational medical imagery. Both sides drawn (minimal thinned oil in varnish). A drawing which uses the language of illustration yet fails to follow that logic all the way through - choosing organic rhythmic liberated gestures over the 'correct' information. An illustration that allows its information to be riddled in error, mixing ideas that attempt to push its own limitations, its own proposals of the layers or mixtures of the human/animal/plant.

'Spontaneous Scatter'. Complexity isn't lazy, yet it can exist in flow, calm, in a brutal meditation. When will we relax on our oversimplifications? When complexity does actually exist. Proposals of all the potentialities of growth & form to see the positive potential within the conceptually horrific?
"I have no right using a scatter graph or any diagram" the surgeon said. And thought to himself: Yet I FEEL like I do understand something correct in the informational is what I'm beholding in front of my very eyes.

What if like death, the unknown growth turns out to be far more beautiful than anyone had ever imagined? Thinking positively about the potential of the unknowns, this body responds. '79% Water'. Objectively speaking: Can a little heartbreak go down to the celular level? Completely disrupt the growth or push the organism in another direction entirely. Catastrophically compromise a person for how ever long it takes to recover? Unravelling the organic parts of us that some would hale as 'fate', el destino & emotion would go sideways, would chaotically go each & every way.
Water content:- Brain: 75%, Blood: 83%, Bones: 23%, Muscles: 75%, Liver: 85%, Kidneys: 83%, Heart: 79% (not accounting for large individual variation).
